At Lombardy Public School, we have a Spirit Council run by a group of grade 7/8 students and teachers. Their role is to plan fun celebration and spirit days, as well as some in-school events for our Lombardy students. We aim to build positivity and fun in our school community. They are also in charge of assigning each student and staff member a House colour, for which they tally points based on participation in Spirit Day. The 2025-2026 House winner was: Green!!! Congratulations!
We also have a dedicated group of grade 6-8 students who make up our Student Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, led by Mrs. Fletcher. The focus for these students this year is multi-faith days, special observation days, and bringing awareness to invisible diversity and disability. Their efforts are often posted on our Lombardy Facebook page!
